grow up

i'm not quite sure why or where i first picked up this book. i think a book rep gave it to me at some point. i'm really glad i came across it though.

First Confession by Monserrat Fontes is a beautifully descriptive coming of age novel centering on Andrea and Victor, two great friends who rely on each other for insight into the predominantly adult world around them. their constant misunderstanding of the principles and ethics which should guide them to decipher right from wrong lead them into foreign situations that not only cause them estrangement from one other but ultimately from childhood itself.

First Confession is a tender yet unforgiving novel mapping the ruthlessness of the transition between youth and adult.
